We aim to revolutionize pesticide application in greenhouses. Current methods are labor-intensive and inefficient, leading to wastage and ineffective crop protection due to lack of precision.
Why spraying?
One of the least addressed areas in agriculture is spraying. Sometimes it feels like the dark side that no one wants to deal with. Hazardous materials, numerous health impacts on workers, everything done manually, and no real control over the amount of material or its effectiveness.
The method
This is where Elva's technology comes into play. We have developed a patented (registered in our name) special nozzle that, with sensors on it and the plant, allows us to gather data on the need for spraying, the required amount, and the precise timing.
All these processes are done automatically with a control and monitoring system that can be accessed from anywhere using a mobile phone or computer. The system is cloud-based, and the data can be received in real-time, enabling actions such as weekly planning, additional spraying, stopping spraying, and generating reports.
